This is Me is a Adolescent Girls Support Group designed to increase positive self-worth, personal empowerment, self-discipline, empathy, healthy attachments, and resilient protective behaviors. We cover topics such as: identification of self-worth, development of self-esteem and self-identity, peer relationships inclusive of Bullying, social media and how it affects the adolescent population, family relationships and how to rebuild and strengthen those relationships. Group will meet Tuesdays starting April 30th for 8 weeks, from 6pm-7:30pm out of the Hackensack location: 426 Hudson Street, 2nd Floor, Hackensack, 07601. Caregivers are invited to attend 2 "This is Me-Caregiver" sessions: May 16th and June 6th. The group fees are $240 for the entire 8 weeks and the caregiver sessions. Light refreshments provided. Registration is required, deadline April 23rd.
