The Department of Mental Health provides a Behavioral Health Care Team for the Rockland County Jail that works in collaboration with Correctional Health Services and Corrections to address and manage the range of Behavioral Health needs and risks presented by the inmate population. The Rockland County Correctional Facility is accredited through the National Commission of Correctional Health Care for the provision of health and behavioral health services at the jail site.
