Cooperative Counseling Services operates multiple DHS licensed Outpatient Mental Health Clinics. Cooperative Counseling Services is committed to helping youth with emotional and behavioral health concerns, maintain stability and achieve personal goals in an Outpatient setting. Treatment, care and support services are provided in a context that is youth-centered, family-focused, strength-based, culturally-competent and responsive to each child’s psychosocial, developmental, and treatment care needs. Youth and their families are involved in every step of the treatment process and drive the goals, interventions and strategies.
Individual, Group and Family sessions are conducted in a respectful partnership with children and their families. Our clinicians are licensed, highly skilled, caring professionals with clinical expertise in areas such as Trauma-Focused Therapy, Substance Abuse, Family Therapy, Behavioral Modification, Play Therapy and Grief Counseling. Many of our clinicians have been trained in treatment modalities specifically for children who have experienced trauma, including the ARC Framework and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Additionally, our clinical and support staff have diverse ethnic/cultural backgrounds and provide services in Spanish.
Psychiatric services are offered by a Board-Certified Psychiatrist and Advanced Practice Nurse to evaluate, prescribe and monitor youth receiving psychotropic medications. Medication education is offered to all youth and their families. Therapeutic services are offered in conjunction with medication management to increase successful outcomes.
