In New Jersey MENTOR's Specialty Group Home program, we go beyond the “traditional” set of services offered in group home settings. We provide intensive services for youth with complex medical and behavioral challenges and focus on creating meaningful connections between staff and residents. Our Specialty Group Homes are designed for youth with intensive clinical needs and those who have been previously unsuccessful in more traditional residential settings. Under the 24-hour supervision of caring professionals, youth are given the guidance and tools they need to reconstruct their lives. Our comprehensive and individualized treatment program includes:

In each of our homes, we offer personalized services and create opportunities for youth to develop physically, mentally and emotionally. Throughout all our services, we focus on helping youth learn to manage the stresses of their lives so they can reach their potential.
New Jersey MENTOR group homes and our support go far beyond the walls of our Specialty Group Homes. Our staff works hard to help youth develop a network of community supports that includes neighbors, case managers, ministers, teachers, and family members. At New Jersey MENTOR, we want to ensure that youth continue to be successful once they reach their permanency goals. Whether they reunify with families, transition into other community living programs, or move into their own home or apartment, we focus on giving them the skills they’ll need to lead healthy, stable lives.
