WINNER NURTURED PARENTING SKILLS PROGRAM Winner provides Nurtured Parenting Skills Training, which is a strength-based, family-centered psychoeducation and coach- ing initiative designed to equip and empower caregivers with alternative approaches to ineffectual child-rearing practices, aimed at long-term nurturing and reform. Nurtured Parenting strategies are designed to meet the identified needs of the caregiver and to help them develop problem-solving skills, better parenting relations and self-efficacy. GOALS OF NURTURED PARENTING PROGRAMS Winner’s Nurtured Parenting Programs are designed to help prevent recidivism in families receiving social services and to aid in lowering the rate of intergenera- tional cycles of poor communication through teaching contemporary strength- based parenting practices.
