The Hasbrouck Heights Free Public Library offers information and entertainment to both the town and the greater community, giving patrons a safe and relaxing environment in which to conduct research, study, read and play. We offer classes, workshops, one-on-one training for common software applications, internet access, WiFi, desktops and laptop support, dedicated children's and young adult spaces, event space and events for groups of all ages. As part of BCCLS, patrons are able to view, request, and check out items from all other libraries in the system, which spans Bergen, Hudson, Essex and Passaic counties. The Hasbrouck Heights Free Public Library is committed to building community connections to reading, encouraging lifelong learning and promoting the personal and professional pursuits of enrichment for people of all ages, interests, and abilities. The Library is committed to maintaining an open, welcoming environment and upholding the public's right of access to information. The Library will endeavor to provide quality service, support community outreach, offer professional expertise, be on the cutting edge of technologies, and offer materials in a variety of formats.
