At Heart to Heart and Associates LLC, we want to make an impact on every child's life. Our After School Program is dedicated to enriching our children's lives and by helping them achieve academic goals. At our center, we have a safe and inviting environment for children with Special Needs to do their homework, relax with peers, work on activities, and just have a wonderful afternoon after school lets out. We have daily art activities, created by our After School Program Director, that will have the children engaged and interacting with one another throughout the day, This program is currently for children between the ages of 3 and 12 and who have special needs or have moderate learning delays in more than one area of development.
Our After School staff is trained in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy, CPR, and 'Handle With Care' Restraint Training. Our staff also assists children with their homework, shows children new games to play with one another, assists children with their daily activities, and cares for every child as if they were their own.
At Heart to Heart, we are fully aware of each child's differences and we take into consideration every child's unique needs. We have a 'one-on-one' option for children whose parents would rather have a designated aide to assist their child throughout the day. We are also aware of different food allergies, so we have gluten and lactose free snack options for children who need those accommodations. We are also a peanut-free center!
Since we are an After School Program, not many parents are able to drop their children off at our center. We work with our children's parents and their school districts to have our children's busses take them to our center once school let's out.
